On line research confirms this device has technical issues. I feel that this product is inmature for low level users. This is probably a beta level release and needs much more support documeentation for anyone less than a mid-level user.”

After uprading to the latest firmware and the 6.6 kernel this performs flawlessly.
Came with Patriot M.2 P300 256GB
Which performs like this using BTRFS with forced zstd:1 compression.
