“Delivered within 24 hrs of ordering. Followed the instrucional video on the Pimoroni site and was up and running in 10 minutes. easy to attach to Pi5, all the necessary screw, nuts and bolts are provided. I ordered mine with a 256gb NVMe drive. I find the base preferable to a hat and the design is unobtrusive.
My pi5 now boots from NVMe.
For me 5here is certainly a noticable difference in performance with the NVMe drive finally making the pi a viable desktop alternative.”
“Worked for a while and then the m2 went read only. It took a while to figure out how to flash the eeprom back to stock so that I could start from sdcard again and try again. It seems this setup is very sensitive to the power supply, so definitly use the recommended factory 27w one.”
