“Worked for a while and then the m2 went read only. It took a while to figure out how to flash the eeprom back to stock so that I could start from sdcard again and try again. It seems this setup is very sensitive to the power supply, so definitly use the recommended factory 27w one.”
“The best thing to say is that "it just works". It's very easy to assemble and when connected to the Pi 5 it's fast. I like the fact that they provide extra screws and nuts - they are easy to lose!
Only pity is that as yet there isn't a case that will accomodate it (without some work with a dremel or file etc) - I was mounting it on a rack shelf so it wasn't an issue, but in the future I will be VESA mounting one, and that will need to be in a protective case.”
