“Excellent item. easy to set up and use. Works perfectly. My only issue was mounting under the red/white pi case. I needed to enlarge the sim slot hole in the case to allow the ide cable to pass through cleanly. Some longer screws (8/10mm) would allow mounting through the case and securing to the rpi.”

“After researching other NVMe Bases for the Raspberry PI 5, I waiting for the Pimoroni to become available. What is unique is the ribbon cable has an offset jag that, when installed, travels to the side of the MicroSD card slot. Unlike the others, it does not block the use of the MicroSD card.
A bigger win was 8 day delivery, awesome visibility in tracking of the kit AND, best - the instructions. Pimoroni not only had an awesome watch me install video, but the written instructions on their site documented how to configure the PI and clone the OS to the MBMe base.”
