Easy to fit, works well At standard PCI speeds even normal processes are faster Not had the guts to try 3.0 speeds yet Do an EEPROM update to latest version first before you fit, check you boot OK Then Watch the video before assembling Sort the nuts and bolts Then play the video, and do exactly as per the video while assembling RASPI-CONFIG can be used to set boot order

Works great and looks better than other available base plates. Installing the base is very easy when following the instruction video on youtube. After the PCIe-port is enabled it just works.

Great product, I finally can use my PI5 with a good disk NVME instead of a fragile micro sd card! Best base ever seen!

A great add-on for the Pi! The board came nicely packaged and the assembly was straightforward. While in the base, my old Samsung SSD achieves speeds of around 800MB/s, which is quite an upgrade compared to running the Pi from a microSD card. Running the SSD at gen3 speeds seems to be stable. There are some spare nuts and bolts in the packaging, which is a nice addition. All in all, a great product!

Worked nicely for me to run a Crucial P5 Plus 500gb ssd which couldn't run in USB enclosure over USB3 because of current drain too much for USB3, but ok with PiMoroni nvme base. Sad that I had to discard my pi5 pibow case, and I am now running caseless. The bridge ribbon from nvme base to PI5 wouldn't go inside the case, too short and too tight a crimp, and too short to go outside with no suitable cutouts in Pibow in any case. Hoping that better pibow or alternative cases will be available to suit nvme base.

Well designed and good video available. Good that the flex circuit avoids the SD card slot (unlike another that I have seen)
