“I've bought NVMe Base to set up a Home Assistant with a bigger ROM. It connected to the Raspberry Pi 5 with no problems, but the PCI flex cable was a little finicky, and I had to reconnect it once before it worked.
I don't think the base is compatible with any widely available Raspberry cases without heavy modification, so keep that in mind.

The "kink" in the PCIe FFC (flat flexible cable) makes it easy to switch thye SD card even after the Pimoroni 5 base is assembled on the Raspberry Pi 5.
