“Very cool case. However, when assembled, the on/off is much too stiff for my son to use. At the same time, it's a bit brittle - cracked on first use, when trying to use the button.”

Sorry to hear that - if you need us to send you out any replacement layers drop us an email at support@pimoroni.com .
If you're having trouble pressing the power button it might be worth trying loosening the nut/bolt at the corner nearest the button?
“I bought one of these recently to protect my new RPi 5.
I love all of the Pibow cases but the case for the Raspberry pi has some minor issues that you need to pay attention to.
If you're using the official heatsink/fan (and I think you should; it's really cheap and very effective), you need to fit layer 3 (the coloured layer that sits on top of the PCB) before the heatsink. If you have already fitted the heatsink it's a bit intimidating to have to remove it, but if you squish the plastic barbs on the back it comes off quite easily.
Layer 3 is also quite a tight fit around the USB and ethernet sockets; you have to gently ease it into place.
When you tighten up the plastic screws that hold the case together, it's very important to not overtighten the screw next to the power connector. I tend to do everything up "finger-tight", but even that is too much - the flex piece that sits over the power switch can stick when it's pressed in. I thought my brand-new Pi was broken, but it was just switched off!”
“Pretty good, but a little more clearance around the finer details near the USB ports would be appreciated, as it was fairly finnicky to get the layers flush with each other. Mine finally fit after cracking near the hair-thin part next to the top layer's active cooler port.”
“As can be seen on the pictures I took and attached here, there is a bit of a design flaw in this case as it does not allow using the button easy enough. First I had to cut a bit of the plastic frame so that the flexible part gets to reach the physical button. Second if you tighten that corner screw like the other three ones, then the flexible frame won't be able to slide and move when you touch its button part.”
