“So much more than "just" a fancy badge. An RP2040 microcontroller, lovely screen, input buttons, QW/ST connections for breakouts, battery connection - it's pretty much an all-in-one microcontroller development platform.”
“If you want a battery-based system, I would rather recommend the Badger2040. But this display is nice and since the mcu is on the back, you have a really compact system.”
“The best shop for me, I like Pimoroni, the packaging is excellent, and the delivery schedule is always reliable.
Additionally, the tutorials page is very completeness, and many examples are ready.
Only on one point, the top link of "Download Pimoroni brand MicroPython (special Tufty edition)" is for PICO-W, target Tufty link is at the bottom of that page. At 1st, I missed the link and I can't run Main.py. "special Tufty edition" will be written "select Tufty edition".
I could make RTC-dial watch on Tufty2040, Thank you.”
“Excellent build quality with a large, very bright and colourful screen - a real step up from Badger. The new software is great with lower case letters in a range of fonts, which you can resize. There is support for sprites, which I'm just getting my head round. (A picture of the supplied sprite sheet would be very helpful in the excellent documentation and guide.)
It comes fully loaded and ready to go. No need to load the examples which are very helpful in understanding how it works.
Great value and I'm sure this will provide many hours of fun.”
