Perfect kit to get started - just add a keyboard and monitor and away you go. Pi 4 seems very quick compared to my previous Pi 2 and the ability to boot from USB media straight out of the box is handy. The supplied software is 32-bit (for compatibility with older versions of Pi) but it runs fast enough. It's easy to download the 64-bit version of Pi OS from the official Raspberry Pi website. I've also tried the Ubuntu OS for Raspberry Pi too, and it runs really well on the Pi 4.
The only snag I've found so far it's that with a keyboard and mouse plugged in to the USB 2 ports I couldn't fit a large RTL-SDR in the USB 3 ports as they're very close together. Solved it with a small USB hub I had, but a short USB extension cable would've worked too.”

“Got introduced to the PI back in high school. Purchased my very first in 2018. I have always used Linux on the side along with Windows and Mac. My very first one was a Pi 3. Amazing piece of kit. I then upgraded to the 4GB after the 2GB Pi 4, and I am just blown away. Can not fault Pimoroni! If you need anything to do with Pi or even just the kit to get started. It is the place to be! Got my Pi the next day. So fast! I am currently running Ubuntu Jammy Jellyfish on it as I write this Review!
