The pi 4 however, it's ok... But I was a bit underwhelmed tbh. It's my first pi, and while I was not expecting it to be blistering fast line an i7 pc, it is way more sluggish/slow than I expected.
The raspberry linux is ok, but if you've got a few terminals open, a few browsers and vscode open, it crawls. Plugged I to a 4k TV, and I've got the usual overscan issues that don't get resolved even after following online guides or I have HUGE black borders top and bottom... Tried Ubuntu & PopOS for pi4, this resolve the overscan/black borders issue but wow, Slooooooooooow AF! Tried the manjaro Linux for pi4, it seems very quick if not quicker than raspberry's Linux dev and no overscan/borders.
It's ok tbh, but it will probably end up as a print/file/my kids Minecraft server... A secondhand Chromebox i7 is about the same price and much better as a cheap TV pc.
Upsides: flashing and I stalling an os is quick!
