“Great product. An out-of-the-box autonomous RPI with distance sensor, camera, battery pack and RPI 4. The online documentation is very clear. Congratulations.”
“Hey a really good device and it's well built, only minor issue was one of the posts that hold the battery section was missing.
I am looking forward to experimenting with it.”
“I love this bit of kit!
It's a very easy build, ending up with a sturdy, solid robot. The only trouble I had was fitting the bolts in the motor brackets. I had to use a micro screwdriver. I'm sure the end of a sharp pointy knife will do. Orientate the bolts and push them down firmly.
Installation of the Python software was a cinch. I added OpenCV with Node-Red (plus node-red-contrib-alexa-home-skill module) and Mosquitto. After a couple of days of simple coding, I can now shout commands to my Trilobot through my Echo Dot devices.
Come on you Pimoroni Galley Slaves! Get your soldering irons hot and make me a Microphone/Speaker Garden Breakout add-on!”
