“Tiny by name, but boy does it pack a punch!
I've used it with a BME280 to create a small sensor package for work. And it works beautifully!
Still trying to get a screen working, but I haven't had much time to play with that side of things.
So I get to do some exploring, and stretch my coding muscles!!”
“The RP2040 is such a great-value microprocessor, but the official Pico board is way too large for some use cases. Finally, we got all the fun of CircuitPython on a truly tiny PCB, including an RGB LED and USB-C! Thank you so much, Pimoroni!”
“So tiny and yet very well feature-packed! I made a little board with a pimoroni pico proto, a DS3231 RTC and a hdc1080 temp sensor to drive a matrix led. Using the arduino IDE and it works. The default I2C ports are GP4 and GP5. I just was not able to switch off the LED due to the MD_MAX7219 library defaulting to GP18, 19 and 20 but it's working :)”
“I love this tiny version of the RPI pico. For smaller projects in terms of size and Gpio pins, it is great. Even with the small numbers of gpio pins, it manages to squeeze in many serial interfaces.”
