“Great looking round display. Set it up with my RPi Zero 2 W, ran the Pimoroni setup script and there was the console output. Crystal clear, sharp and easy to read. Now I need to get going on some software using Python and PyGame to get the application going I have planned. Yes, I will be purchasing another one. One can always rest easy with the HyperPixel display line from Pimoroni, 5 stars !!!”
“It's a neat little display in a compelling form factor and at an affordable price. The only downside is that it eats all your Pi's GPIO pins, and I couldn't make the added software-i2c work; perhaps there is a way, but no luck for me on the Pi 4B. So better make sure you can realise your project without GPIO at all. Contrary to some remarks, I could make it work on a GPIO extender cable, so it doesn't have to sit directly on top of the Pi. It's a bit difficult to find them in stock in electronic retailers in the EU, but ordering directly from Pimoroni worked flawlessly.”
