“Nifty little board-- super easy to code, totally painless to use. My only wish is that the gas sensor didn't need to warm up to get accurate results; I'd like to be able to ping it every few minutes, instead of having to do continuous readings.”
“As usual, arrived quickly well packed. Soldered on the pins and used it in my breadboard with an ESP32 and the downloaded library example. I set the address by cutting the link and it all worked first time. Now I need to think about the AI…”
“Excellent price and service from Pimoroni as usual - that almost goes without saying tbh. The breakout is good; the demo code works well, just need to spend a bit of time going through the documentation for it. It looks a highly capable and configurable sensor.”
“It works well enough. There is the expected issue that using the gas sensor heater causes the temperature and humidity reading to change, so make sure to leave sufficient time between the two readings, both to heat up the gas sensor and to cool down enough for the temp/RH reading. My biggest complaint is that because Bosch' library is closed source, there's no way of easily calculating eVOC and CO2 ppm from the resistance reading.”
