“Very nice little display and breakout board. The display is bright and clear, with good viewing angles. The 240x240 pixel (well, a circular subset of that) is impressively high resolution and is capable of rendering good quality images, fonts and line art. There are plenty of open-source software examples available for the display, and I was able to get this working fairly easily for my application via SPI in C++ (using an Electrosmith Daisy Seed, ARM Cortex-M7 based). The breakout board is nice with good-quality silk screen labels and a couple of useful mounting holes.”
“Really cool little display, have it attached to a nodemcu and with a little fettling of the adafruit library, it works really well. If you try it and find you get a band along the bottom of the display, you need to change the row offset in the init() method in the cpp file in the adafruit library”
“I bought one because I'm interested in this shape. It worked easily on the RasPiZero. Compact shape and a clear display, so I'd like to try to drive it with a microcontroller next.”
