“Nice but I wish more GPIO pins would be exposed for use. Now nearly impossible to add let's say I2S device to play music using the keyboard. Did try some serial communication to another pico but ended up destroying the pico serial port. So sits not in the drawer without any use.”
“The keys feel nice and clicky. It's fun to build although I bent a pin whilst pushing in the top piece (that's my fault really) although it can be bent back into shape. I would not recommend this to a beginner because you need to code it yourself. If you are willing to learn (or already know) circuitpython and want a small macropad, you would enjoy this device. As always, the support team is there for you if you have any problems with the device, they will help you. :)”
“A decent little programmable set of keys, which is really handy. There *are* some issues with the software (in particular, it's a little too easy to crash the keyboard if you try to send a keystroke to a powered off device), but overall I'm happy with it.”
“My first mechanical keypad! Really fun and versatile, I programmed myself a "Lights Out" puzzle while I think of a more serious use for it. Tactile keys are just as satisfying as you might expect.”
“You build it, very easy to assemble and solid once it’s together. This is a nice bit of kit! Immediately changed the blue macro settings so each key is my most frequent code/excel command.
… the clicky keys are nicer than my ‘proper keyboard’. :’)”
