Smaller RP2040 controller than the Pico, great for space restricted projects. The USB c connection is a nice bonus

This is about as small as you can go and still have a useful, embeddable system. Because it uses the RP2040 micro-controller this tiny board is very powerful (the PIO sub-system boosting its effectiveness many times) but it does have one or two design flaws. The principle one is the fact it does not lay flat so having castellations (so the device can be used in an SMT way) is sort of redundant. Yes you can get around that, but I think the majority of the boards sold will probably not use this feature, which is a shame as it obviously makes the board more expensive. And when compared to the Raspberry Pi PICO (at half the cost) unless space is a major design cost I can not see a use case for this board.

Fantastic form factor. I can't wait to fire it up and start developing with the controller. Just waiting for the soldering kit and pin headers to arrive to fit for the breadboard.

Cooler kleiner Chip.
