Got the Lipo Shim to allow me to safely connect a small lippo 1s to a pico w. It did the job perfectly in almost all areas except one. I wanted the pico w to monitor a switch and so I had power optimised the software so that the lippo cell could power it for over a week. I connected the shim and it has a red led and a bery bright led that is always on. Increased power consumption from the led meant that my battery died after a day. Back to the drawing board!

The Lipo shim module worked as expected. And fits in perfectly. But I had some hard time soldering the pico to shim (I am bad at soldering). Wish there had been an option where it snaps in or plugs without any soldering.

Attached this to my Pico for a battery on a water pump project and makes it super easy to connect power and have a power button to cycle it.

Works really well. Great fit for the pico. My only issue is that it seems to have developed a high pitch whine a week or so after I got it on a breadboard. Doesn't seem to have caused any issues though.
