“Very clever board. The only issue I see is that the pins get mirrored, so that we can plug boards like Pico Display pack 2.0 directly but there are no labels on the board to make us notice this. Therefore, when using it with your own boards, it is easy to connect to the wrong pin. The labels it has, should have been on the two other connectors, not the middle one that Pico connects.”
“The SIL (Serial in-line), connectors are a very tight fit. Once an item is attached it's very difficult to remove. ZIF sockets would help but would increase the cost and size. A parallel lift lever would be a useful accessory. Additionally, mounting holes to enable fitting in a box would be useful.”
“This is an easy way to connect two add-ons to your Pico. It is of good quality, and does exactly what it claims to do very well, so it gets 5 stars. The only negative is that if you do connect two add-ons, you lose access to the Pico pins. Perhaps the pins could be brought out to a double row of closely spaced female headers or something? It would make it a bit more flexible for prototyping without adding much to the cost or size.”
Ahoy Jim!
You could fit stacking headers to your Pico if you wanted a set of socket headers as well?

“Excellent - can use a couple of Pimoroni's "packs" with a single pico or use a single pack whilst still having access to all of the Pico's GPIO pins. Simple, well made and inexpensive. Pretty essential if you've got a pico and even a single pack.”
