One of the easiest to use devices. I had the most fun with my pico and this device. It was super useful for quick prototyping. I would definitely recommend this to anyone starting out with a Raspberry pico

Makes it easy to build interfaces for the RP Pico. The display is clear. The Breakout Garden sockets make it easy to use existing Breakout Garden boards, and the breakout Garden to Qwic connectors allow use of other break out boards.

Fantastic purchase for a quick way to start exploring the Raspberry Pi Pico. Labelling on the board is super helpful and the addition of the stick on rubber feet means I can use it on my desk without worrying! The screen even comes with a plastic protector to keep everything nice and safe so it arrives in good shape! Ignore the amateur soldering on my photos, more practice is definitely needed!

Not had a chance to really use this yet hence 4 stars, sure it will be a 5. Looks sturdy, was well packaged and arrived earlier than expected.

The Pico Explorer Base is a real treasure! It brings together the Pi Pico, a neat little 240 by 240 LCD, and a TI motor driver which is capable of supplying over an amp. The breadboard is dinky, but is big enough to take two 14 pin DIL chips end for end. I am seriously thinking of using this board to teach my second year students about DC motor control using PWM and feedback from tachometers, replacing some older hardware which has been in use for a while. At 22 pounds (OK 26 pounds if you buy a Pi Pico at the same time) this is a bargain! All the remaining pins of the Pi Pico are brought out on convenient header pins, all clearly labelled. I have yet to explore the "breakout" connectors but have already cut some stripboard to make my own plug-in modules (contacts are on 0.1 inch pitch).
