“I am very happy and also surprised, I received all the material in eight days from the order, congratulations!
Everything arrived in perfect condition and Pimoroni products are always of excellent quality.
Thank you!”
“The board came in nice packaging that I didn't have any problems getting it to work with my Pico W. However, I did have problems with the Micropython support in that have to use Pimoroni's Micropython UF2 which was missing a few libraries that I wanted to use for my Pico W and I had to switch to the Raspberry Pi Foundation's port of Micropython to use those key libraries. This is something that will be fixed in the future but it is annoying to deal with and if it was not so, I would have given this board 5 stars.”
Ahoy!
Thanks for the review! Please can you let us know a bit more info about what you're trying to do and what libraries you found to be missing? A Github issue would be a fine place to do that, if you've not opened one already: https://github.com/pimoroni/pimoroni-pico/issues
“Am really pleased with this purchase. The Pico Explorer Base is ... well ... the ideal base for exploring the possibilities of the Raspberry Pi Pico with good input and output options. As is usual with Pimoroni products the supporting material provided is excellent.”
“As a person who loves to know how things work this Pico Explorer Base is fantastic, giving me lots of ideas on how to push my boundaries as well as grounding me in the practical and logical thinking, of using my Pico and Raspberry Pi Model B (2012), well worth the purchase and very fun to show the kids (hopefully when they grow up they can join me with one of their own).”
“Very good and quick to get working. Takes a fair amount of pressure to put in a Pico - don't expect to be able to easily remove the Pico once you are done!”
