Good way to experiment with the Pico. Documentation about how to insert the breakouts into the slots is missing. No indications of 3.3V and GND on the PCB. MicroPython support for how to use the breakouts (e.g. MAX30105) in MicroPython is still missing. On the positive side, this forces me to read the data sheet and other (non MicroPython) code examples to get it working. Probably learning now much more about the MAX30105 than just copying sample code.

This is a great way to easily start to explore the PICO board without needing to assemble component, connecting wires and breadboards. Just solder the connector pins and plug the PICO into the base. The examples provided are easy to understand and provide a good base from which to begin programming.

I bought 2 pico explorer boards. The quality and form factor design is top notch! I look forward to using these dev boards with micro python and C/C++.

Great fun little board with lots of options to play. My only bit of negative feedback is I'd have liked a 5V available somewhere cause I needed it for RFID scanner, not sure what they could have given up to provide it :-). I haven't investigated the breakout garden stuff yet but that looks like it'll be fun too.
