“All good. Very clearly coded pimoroni demo 'pico_audio'. I'm new to rpi-sdk/git/cmake. Cmake failed when attempting to build the pimoroni demo but after trying different things for about an hour I decided to make pico_audio into a standalone project. Finally, with an edited CMakeLists file the demo built and work. Anyway i'm now all set and ready to program this. The demo pico_audio has failed to build for me in any other way - from within the pimoroni-pico repo folder structure.”
“works great! I use it (with a rp2040 obviously) to play an internet radio. the code is messy, but in case you want an example, it's here -- https://github.com/gregsadetsky/wfmu-rp2040-pimoroni-radio -- this is mainly using code from https://github.com/earlephilhower/ESP8266Audio but hacked so that it would work with the Pico Audio Pack :-) cheers”
“Was fun to play with, but the libraries and software support are not great on the pico, especially compared to the teensy audio boards. However the hardware is awesome, I got it working on my RPi Zero W, and is amazing for small Linux based audio projects.”
“Website: Excellent.
Check out: Very good.
Shipping: Very good. The shipping cost to the U.S.A is very reasonable and timely.
I have not had a chance to evaluate the product yet, but folks on the Raspberry PI forum find to be a good product.”
“Needed an audio out for my latest Pico project, and this did not disappoint! - had it set up and playing audio within 15 mins, very impressed, and made my breakout board to add buttons to trigger clips, I would purchase it again.”
