Great sound ! Easy installation without soldering

I've had 5 of these shim devices now and only one has worked without issue. The problem is that the fit over the Pi's GPIO pins is too loose and good contact could only be made by soldering. Sorry to moan - I wish it worked better but I will avoid these in future

Only just hooked it up - but it works and sounds great! Used it with shairport sync to make some speakers AirPlay compatible for much less than retail solutions. thanks!

Sounds great, easy to setup on RPI Zero W, working well as an audio streamer.

Amazing - for what it is. I have two Zeros with the DAC shim attached running as piCorePlayer clients.

Mounted on nano very easily. Code modified as per instructions & worked at first try.

I bought this to fit to a Pi Zero running a Squeezelite (piCorePlayer) client in my kitchen. Assembled, programmed and up and running in half an hour - and running really well. I'm impressed by the sound quality and can't get my head around the fact that the whole device (Pi & DAC shim) cost less than £30.

Very cool thing, installs very easily, but sad that it should be soldered for good contact.
