After a dismal experience with the SEEED 4-mic array from pi hut (drivers not compatible with recent rasp os, no response from manufacturers).
I was expecting some version/install pain here.
But it installed fine, samples ran fine, and plenty of links to other examples.
In one weekend I got a chromatic tuner scripted, and button usage to change views from note and error needle to scrolling historic frequency graph, all on the built in screen!
(still have to tune the FFT parameters though)

“Nice hardware let down by poor software. The 'install.sh' script appears to have digressed from what is described in the README, and the 'cliprecord.py' sample does not work on a fresh RPi ZeroW (pulseaudio problems, as per https://github.com/pimoroni/pirate-audio/issues/37 ).”
