“Good hat mini. Outputs are a quiet, safe alternative to relays. Examples were helpful for programming but the wiring examples online only covered power and ground from the pi. Connecting devices that were 24v wasnt as straight forward but I got it figured out.”
“A nice little HAT for the Raspberry Pi. I am using it with a RPI Zero to automate an drip irrigation system for the garden. The relay switches a 12V magnetic valve and the outputs are used for status LEDs. The next step is to use professional/commercial-grade moisture-sensors (up to 10V), that can easily be connected to the ADC-Inputs. Installation is very easy with the provides script and its very nice to work with. The build quality is very good and sturdy.
While i had a defective unit at first, Pimoroni was very fast to replace it after a short chat with the support team.
Overall a very nice product and i will buy it again for the next project.”
