Just looking at this board will show you the level of quality that goes into every product that Pimoroni makes. This is my third purchase from the company, and I cannot wait to build my second internet streaming radio with this board. The process of ordering from Pimoroni is quick and efficient, my board arrived from their overseas offices quickly, and their customer support has been superb.

Great piece of kit at a good price. Loads of help on the Pimoni website to help set it up as well as on the web. Got it working with my pi zero. Great display and a good sound. All in all I love it. Quick delivery, good communication and best of all made in the UK.

Forget the software. I wanted to "play" a file on a remote RPI0W and hoped for a simple programming interface. Fortunately if you make the device the default output device the Raspian omxplayer works fine eg. "omxplayer -o alsa sound file path" Its a dedicated application.

Does what it says on the tin. Setup using pimoroni instructions using Mopiidy & Iris played mp3 files also received radio stations using mopidy extensions. Also played audio from RPi desktop. Using pair of old Yamaha Desktop Speakers wired direct, sounds good. I'm using Pi Zero W.

Superb little piece of kit! Popped it on a Pi, installed the software, copied over some MP3s then connected a couple of bookshelf speakers and off we go! Still learning my way round mopidy. Great job Pimoroni!
