Purchased to convert an old speaker into a smart one using a Pi zero. Good sound output and quite easy to set up.

Works without any problem in Raspberry Pi 3B+. The software installation was easy on Raspberry Pi OS with desktop. I tried to install it on Raspberry Pi OS Lite as well, but I had to install python3-pip manually.

Fabulous project! I used a pi zero w and the small speakers available as additions. The sound quality is very good. The only improvement for me would be the ability to wire external buttons - supergluing match sticks didn't work so well. The Iris browser control mostly works well with odd glitch. I upcycled a Lick the Spoon Easter egg box for the case and it now sits in our garden room as the music player.

A great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Once I found the correct link for the walk through instructions it was straightforward and I've breathed life into my fidelity radio!

This is a brilliant piece of kit!. I followed the tutorial and was able to play tracks almost immediately. As it happens, I wanted some functionality that is slightly different to the standard provided by the official software, so I asked on the Pimoroni Forums and Hey Presto! I found an alternative that did everything I need (see https://github.com/G-a-v-r-o-c-h-e/PIpod-Nano). Definitely to be recommended.
