“Pre-ordered this and it turned up when specified, near the beginning of December. Came in a great box, wrapped in paper, presentation was fantastic. The snowflakes are on a single board and following the videos, very easy to separate. Construction is basically just pushing the snowflakes out of the board, connecting them with 6 wires (remembering to use the long one for the power end) and connecting to a micro USB connector. Only problem was that screwing the cover on the switch board kept the switch pressed down, so had to leave the screws a bit loose.
In use they are very good (and very bright) and they look great, the patterns are well thought out and it is amazing how much electronics you get for the money.”
“Easy to set up and the default settings are great. I suspended the snowflakes on fishing line within a silver frame and am very pleased with the effect.”
“Beautiful patterns and easy to connect, though my clumsy fingers had to use a tweezer to connect the ribbon cables without damaging them. It's now hanging in the children's room as a nightlight, and I suspect they'll want to keep it beyond Christmas!”
“This is a really fun project to make. Very simple - which is a good thing as the box didn't include any instructions and I couldn't find them on the website. Takes about 5 minutes to set up and looks fantastic.”

“Relatively easy to assemble, although some small long nose pliers would be useful for getting the flat cables into the connectors. Apart from that, i works well and is a novel device.”
“The snowflakes look really nice. The small leds on each snowflake make very nice twinkling effects. They don't just blink and they don't blink all at the same time, but they work together for a nice animation. The assembly was quite easy (if you know you should not try to pull the levers out, but pull them up). I let my 14 year old daughter do it and it worked at the first try. Two minor cons: the colors of the leds is quite cold, I would've preferred a more yellow-like color. And the wires between the snowflakes appear to be a bit brittle, but I could be wrong.”
