- Very easy to set up
- Bright and clear screen
- Touchscreen features work well
- Good response time
Not so good:
- Uneven backlight around the edges
I *really* like this screen. Unless you're watching dark video, the backlighting probably won't be an issue.”
“Very clear and fast display, if pretty small - I need my reading glasses when doing emails. I've currently paired it with a RPi3B+ and small keyboard and mouse and 2A power supply making a very compact travelling computer which you can stuff in your case while travelling. Much better for emails than using a fat finger on your phone and the screen is large enough for internet searches.”
“Excellent colours, accurate touch. Couldn't give 5 stars as doesn't currently work 100% on Raspberry Pi 4 due to this bug: https://github.com/pimoroni/hyperpixel4/issues/47 . Also I'm not sure if it's Raspbian's fault but the display stays on even after the Raspbian has turned off the screen output and burns a ring around the sides of the screen. This is not permanent though and disappears after having something on the screen properly for a while.”
“Great display, easy to use. Installer is simple to run. Display quality is good. I am developing a 'radar' display to go in my aircraft cockpit to warn of nearby traffic. Seems ideal for that.”
