“This is the perfect display for a small pi project. It's easy to configure, the touch is precise enough for most things on a screen it's size and picture quality is better than average. One thing to watch for, touch may be 180 degrees rotated, but there's good directions to mitigate it and they're easy to find.”
“Love this display, it's really vibrant, and the square shape looks great.
Fits well on the raspberry pi 4 and is super easy to install.
However, I have had problems getting it to work with I2C, and sometimes the screen does start flickering.”
“Excellent dot pitch and contrast. Drivers required a little tweak, but a quick discussion on GitHub got things... squared away, if you'll pardon the pun.”
“These are so fun to play with for small projects and look GREAT. Crystal clear with very vibrant colors (only 18-bit of course, but still). It can be stacked quite slim with a 3A+ or Zero/2--much slimmer than many pi display options. The only bummer is no brightness support is built in to their driver, only on/off. With a little research and coding, you can PWM the right pin to adjust the brightness yourself, just not quite as 'natively' as the Raspberry Pi display. Lastly, support was extremely responsive and helpful with a hardware issue I had--I can definitely say that Pimoroni stands behind their products and would recommend them to anyone.”
