The universal power supply was a “snap” to attach the correct mains plug and supplies sufficient voltage to avoid the infamous undervoltage message and certainly enough current for the included Blinkt hardware and software exercises.
I thought it was great to have the Python code downloads for the exercises, too, although a PDF of explanation would have been good. Maybe it’s there and I missed it during my checkout. But I also found public GitHub repositories for Blinkt so there are lots of programming examples out there.
The keyboard and mouse are inexpensive but have a nice design and finish to them, although wireless makes more sense to me to prevent movement from endangering the Pi, itself.
I wish every school student on the planet was able to spend some time with the Starter Kit and an engaging instructor. The Kit has great style, looks durable and I would recommend it, even without the stickers.”
