“Bought this along with my new Pi4B after reading some reviews about temperatures and potential throttling. I have to say that I’m delighted at the way temperatures so far haven’t exceeded 47 DegC whatever I’m doing. Not that I’m doing video encoding though. The only surprise was that it came with zero instructions on which pins on the GPIO to put it on. However the images on the website were good enough to figure that out.”
“Wonderful little silent fan, great for when compiling code over 10mins or more! Can imagine this would be useful for anyone doing emulation, computational stuff!”
“Great product for keeping the Pi 4 nice and cool. The only design point I'd question would be the length of the screws as they do contact the board when screwed in normally. I'd recommend turning these upside down as they have a couple of mms clearance in that case.”
“Silent, low power and keeps the board cool. Easy to put together, but for secure fastening on the pins, you need to push it down to the extent that the button can't be used, if you have the pi in the coupe case. Not a Biggie, though - I have the fan running all the time, as it's so quiet...”
