Non existent instructions, didn't work at first but now at least it powers up, not managed to get it to spin down automatically

Does what it say on the box, VERY WELL. Installed hardware and software with no issues. Now I have a Pi 4 with lights that are red and green, and red, and green...

I have to say that overall it’s an excellent and intelligent solution to cooling the RPi 4B. The only thing I would ask is if in future revisions it could have a slow spin up because now and then the HDMI resets when the fan is set to come on at a particular temp. Has anyone else seen this happen?

Excellent. With the Fam SHIM installed you can keep your RPi4 at 55C without any heat sinks. Literally you don't need a heat sink at all, just the Fan SHIM.

Fantastic, temperature has dropped from 80C down to 65C in the case(need to drill some extra holes for ventilation) with the case lid off down to 50C, i am really happy i got this, so easy to install.

Extremely effective little fan, drags the CPU temps down considerably just by dropping it on the headers, no software required. Also it has a well documented set of optional tools to set up thresholds and customise the switch and indicator LED. In my opinion this should be a standard addition with every Pi4 as I'm just not comfortable running the Pi4 at it's standard scorching temps otherwise! Certainly wouldn't want something this hot left on 24x7 as an internet of things device such as MotionEye, Weather Station or Flightaware without one.
