“This works great to keep a Pi 4B with 8 GB I stuck inside an IBM 122-key Model M case under 65 C, even when it's working hard running a mainframe emulator. I thought not having a heatsink would be an issue, but it doesn't seem to need one. Doesn't even run full time. Didn't need to make any holes in the keyboard case beyond those I made for the Pi's cables, either. When it's running, you can hear it, but it's quiet enough you have to listen for it. Highly recommended.”
“Exactly want I needed for the audition of the screen. I lost a pi to heat before I discovered the Fan SHIM and the added temperature programming is an added plus.”
