“When I barely notice though my hearing isn't the best, others with more sensitive hearing may disagree with me. My Pi 4B / 4Gb idles at ~57 C but activating the shim drops to ~37 C.
With a stress test the shim is activated @65 C and quickly drops the temp to 55 C.
Easy to install both software and hardware and prompt delivery from Pimoroni as expected.”
