“Very nice. Plug it onto a pre-soldered raspberry and you get up and running immediately with no soldering. Just wish there were more "breakouts" to plugin.”
“Love the Breakout Garden HAT! Since most of the sensors you plug in have multiple sensors on themselves (Take a look at the BME680 Breakout), I only need like 3 of the 6 slots... until more sensors come out, or existing ones support Python3, there's going to be a few free slots.
Super nice for testing! Soo easy to just start swapping sensors for different projects. Must have if your using sensors for school projects.”
“This is a great answer to the problem of prototyping a system using some breakouts, maybe before building them into finished stand-alone projects.
I was worried about how good the connections would be, but the breakouts plug in with a satisfying clickâthe reverse polarity protection is useful as you *will* put them in backwards at some stage.
A few handy GPIO signals are broken out to a solderable header, and you can easily hack a connector for the i2c sockets with a bit of strip board if needed (and I'm guessing that a little breadboard, with a matrix of solder points, in breakout format will be available soon).
Fabulous whimsical leaf design too, as befits the name.”
