“A very nice bright display that worked "out of the box". The small keypad is a useful addition after becoming familiar with the protocol! I mounted mine in a plexiglass sandwich with a cutout on the front. The display can be powered using the same raspberry pi wallwart that is used to power a pi3B+ processor.”

“I have just received this screen and connected it up to test, so this is a first impression. The product comes as a kit, but all this means is you have to connect the ribbon cables - follow the photo if you need to know how they go. I connected it to a raspberry pi and used a spare pi power supply to power it. It worked first time without any problems. Although small, the screen is bright and clear, so using the command line presented no problems. The button pad gave control of the screen, such as brightness, contrast and power, with a bit of trial and error to find out how it works.
It is ideal for building into projects, indeed, it needs something to hold the screen and boards steady.
