Finally a great 4:3 display for all retro fans! The display itself is super thin what makes it easier to be used in any kind of DIY project. The keypad is nice but optional - the display works fine without it.

Display is very responsive. Was able to play video without any lags/artefacts. Controler card is small, discrete and doesn't heat when display is in use. Buttons on tjhe controller board are very small and seems to be designed to be used "inverted". Nice idea. Screen is powered by an USB cable. Nice discover: a Raspberry Pi4 (with a classic power supply and a Sensor+ hat) is able to power the 8" LCD screen via USB3 port. On a raspberry PI and Wndows 10, screen was discovered immediately. I designed and build a PLA case for the screen without any vent but the screen does not overheat.

Great! Really easy to use in DIY projects with the separate board & HDMI connection. I'm using as a smart picture frame/retro emulator display with a Pi 4.
