The Pibow coupГ© is an elegant addition when using the 7" LCD frame. It adds protection to your Raspberry Pi at the back of the display. When using a coupГ© with the frame and the dedicated short LCD-Raspberry Pi micro-USB cable, it's necessary to leave out the bottom plate #0. Otherwise, the cable will be too short. For mounting, M2.5x20 screws are necessary to fix the Raspberry Pi with the coupГ© to the LCD. When using separate, longer USB power cables, the coupГ© bottom plate can be mounted too, but this requires M2.5x25 screws then.

It's quite enjoyable putting this together, and it looks chuffing fantastic! My wife really doesn't care much for technology so I thought she was being sarcastic when she said "ooh that looks nice!" — win

I've got this for my Pi 3. Assembling it was very easy and I really do love the sleek look of the Pi 3 in the case. There is a hole to fit a single heatsink. The case will not fit if you're using more than just a CPU heatsink. This is also ideal for mounting it back on the official 7" touch screen... especially if you're using a stand in the same colour :)

At first, I was struggling to decide between a normal transparent one covering everything and this one, but I decided to take this one. Good choice, because I really like how it looks. I had my old pi 2 (with transparent case) hidden somewhere, but I like the looks of this Pibow case more, so I keep it laying on my desk to look at. The numbers of the GPIO pins are readable, and help out if you want to use them. The open spot for the heatsink is a little bit bigger for wrong adjustments, and all requires ports are easily accessible. A hint to future assemblers: put all numbers in the top left corner so that you can read them, then place all parts in place. Delivery to the Netherlands was fast (received it in 4 days) and I found no scratches whatsoever.

Bought to house Raspberry Pi 3. Very easy to build and fitted snugly around the Pi. Lovely looking item, GPIO pins readily accessible and easy to use.

This is a really nice case, that looks great and does the job well. Initially I had a problem accessing the power port, but this was due to having layer 2 installed the wrong way around. If you ensure that the etched layer numbers numbers are all in the same place then you won't have this problem. Thanks to Pimoroni for the support!

I've got quite a collection of Pi cases, but the Pibow CoupГ© is easily the best of them all - it's compact and extremely robust. You have unrestricted access to all the GPIO pins, and all the connectors. The flat form helps here in that you don't have to poke the cables through a slot as you do with most of the cases out there. The pins protrude slightly above the top of the case, but not so much that it makes them vulnerable to damage. All standard HATs fit without any issues. This makes it particularly good for use on the electronics workbench as everything is well-protected but still easy to use. There is an opening for a heatsink to the main processor, if you are so inclined to use one. Assembly is as simple as it gets, and it looks great too. What more could you ask for?

I bought my Pi as a kit that included a standard case, but it was kinda ugly and didn't do the hardware justice, so I decided to upgrade to this case. What can I say - it came in an awesome sweetie bag with clear enough instructions that even my five year old could put it together, now my Pi can be clearly seen inside this shiny, clear case. I also added a small heat sink and it popped right into the coupe with no trouble at all. I can't imagine I would ever buy another case for my Raspberry Pi! I also recently acquired the Unicorn Hat and it slots right on top of the Pibow Coupe with no problem at all. If there was one improvement point I would offer, I would like to see optional metal screws instead of the standard plastic offering, some nice chrome bits would really complete the sports car feel!
