“This is a brilliant little idea for those without the skill (me) or the time (also me) to solder. Buy the kit, put your Pi Zero in the acrylic holder, place the acrylic plate over the guide bolts and across the header and tap away. I'm now using the header to accommodate a Picon Zero.
The Bilge Tank episode above will show you exactly what to do. I really can't stress enough how this placed something beyond my immediate reach firmly within my grasp. Thanks Pimoroni, the solderless header (and kit) is truly exceptional!”
“Bought the full kit (jig and headers), and the quality of parts is amazing. Laser cut jig is neat, and easily put together, pins are straight and very sturdy feeling.
Can't believe it's only ВЈ6 to be honest.
If you follow the instructions (via the YouTube bilge tank) you can't go wrong.

“I saw this new product on the Bilge Tank youtube channel and placed an order immediately! I have a Pi Zero and didn't feel confident enough to solder the headers myself (I *would* blame my soldering iron, but hey, bad workmen and all that....). So, I ordered the kit with male and female headers, along with the Installation Jig. Installing the headers could not be easier! Seriously. Just assemble the jig, add your Pi and the headers, then tap firmly with a small hammer, as per the tutorial and hey presto - A Pi Zero with tightly fitting GPIO headers. Accessories like Blinkt are easily inserted and removed, just like with the soldered headers. I would thoroughly recommend!”
