“My 7 year old son loved building this and now carries it around everywhere (with the help of a USB power pack). Tweaking the radio feeds was a bit of a learning curve, but we soon worked it out. “I liked the idea, so I bought one.
Soldering the pins was the toughest nut to crack but it was done quickly, even with my not-too-great soldering skills. Software installation was easy, I used an SD card with PIXEL that happened to be lying around.
The sound of the little radio is fine, actually much better than I expected. I use it to listen to my favourite station, the French FIP (from Paris).

Het solderen van alle pinnetjes was nog het lastigste maar ook met mijn niet zo geweldige soldeerkunst was het snel gedaan. De software was makkelijk geГЇnstalleerd, ik had nog een SD-kaartje liggen met PIXEL erop.
Het radiootje klinkt prima, beter dan ik had gedacht. Ik gebruik het om naar mijn favoriete zender te luisteren: het Franse FIP, uit Parijs.”

I choose the non soldering option, and managed to use a very large hammer successfully even with a small pi zero w.
