The delivery is bery fast to Japan, it taked only 6 day!! The Price of this kit was reasonably cheeper than that Japanese domestic Amazon shop as including delivering cost. The experience of made up Internet radio using Pi Zero W is very exciting to me.

I got the SD card set up whilst awaiting delivery of the kit, so once it arrived I had a fully working project running in less than an hour. A great little kit, but the audio quality is not the best (a bit tinny) due to the speaker not being enclosed - that is my next project to put the Pirate radio into a suitable enclosure.

Great little kit for the money! I had a spare SD card that I prepared whilst waiting for the kit to arrive, so once it did arrive I had it built and working in half an hour! The instructions on the web were mostly accurate, but need updating: 1. the correct location of the VLC playlist file for the pirate radio, and 2. the login name/password for the VLC web interface. This information was quickly found on the web, but should be added to the instructions. Otherwise no issues and its working nicely!

The perfect Christmas gift ! Nice design, received in few days as expected. Assembly and software install (pirate-radio) went fine. Just had to correct pivumeter.c file to improve LED level scaling. Installed espeak to get IP address and weather at boot. Was also the opportunity to install third-party softwares using USB SDR receiver. As bonus my friend will also be able to listen WFM 88-108 MHz, follow airplanes traffic, and get the temperature from neighbours sensors :) Thnks Pimoroni !

Very good. I was thinking of getting this last year but was put off by some of the difficulties in getting the URLs, plus I thought I'd mess up the soldering. The excellent hammer header kit solved the soldering problem and it all works! I still think they should include stainless steel nuts and bolts because, on retail at least, they're cheaper than the plastic ones and look better and are more secure. It's a present, so I didn't want it coming apart when I wasn't there to fix it. Therefore I have used M2.5 10mm bolt spacers to keep the Pi as solid as a rock instead of wobbling a bit on the pHAT Beat.
