“Really good kit that helps make the Zero easy to interface with full circuits. Excellent due to it and the Zero's size making really small and useful.”
“Works like a charm. Thanks to Pimoroni's nice Python library, you can hand on the Scroll pHAT very quickly and with a couple lines of code, you can sit back and enjoy your little LED matrix animation.
Just remember to put the Diffuser in front of the LEDs, it's not a Pi Zero base, it's used to soften the LED lights and make them look amazing.”
“Awsome Ideas. I just ordered a scroll kit. I have two Raspberry Pi B revised2, Pi2 B, and now a Zero kit on the way. This Zero is for my daughter.
It was a hard choice which pi zero kit for my daughter (6). I went with the scroll this time because I already own much of the hardware the Explorer hat has to offer. If my funds were better I would by both. I went with the scroll because it is alittle more appropriate for a 6 year old just getting into python. So we will start with lights before motors and sensors.
I know I will want that explorer pHat. By offering analog and motor pins it eliminates the need of other hardware and when working with kids sometimes less extra stuff keeps it easier. Better for them to comprehend.
After buying an arduberry and a few sheilds to perform simular functions for my pi B rev2, I can really appreciate it how compact and basic the explorer pHat is.,”
“The Pi is very versatile. The pHAT has an interesting size, it's so small!
For people like me (not experts) a better description of the functions included in the library might be good.
Howerver - it's great. Oh, PIMORONI is also a good shop :-)”
