“Good quality and finish, Color coded pins would be nice, having the pinout on both sides for the "solder yourself" version with a fat white line on position 1 side,
then we can choose which side to solder/use
(pins left to right = classic or right to left = modern)”
“Have one with a Touch pHAT and a Scroll pHAT HD for displaying stats of all the Raspberrys in the house.
Very well made and very useful., very satisfied with it.”
“I use it more frequent than the T-cobbler. The pin label is more comprehensive that helps me to locate the correct pin easier. I plan to but not yet (because I have not received those pHat's I need due to OOS issue) play with two pHats together; but still I can imagine what a mess it will be if I use a breadboard to replace it.
Well, may be I am just too new to establish any using habit. When I use it, RPi(zero)'s HDMI & USB ports point to left, hack3r is somewhere above those cables with the GPIO pins positioned exactly the same as https://pinout.xyz. Just fit my small desk perfectly.”
“I would like to say that the Hack3r board is very well built and serves its purpose well.
Unfortunately, for my project I was looking for a generic three-way GPIO splitter, and although this product achieves that, it ties all the ground connections together meaning it can only be used with the Pi Zero in one particular orientation that does not match my needs. I only this found out after plugging my Pi in to it and experiencing boot problems. The Pi appears to be fine now, but it does mean that I cannot use this board for my project and will need to find an alternative. I will be keeping the Hack3r board around though, as the GPIO pin-out guide printed on to it is handy to have.”
“Never disappointed with Pimoroni, great quality breakout board with all of the information clearly printed for the pinout. I had hoped to use it to gain easier access to the gpio pins but as has aleady been pointed out, it is labelled backwards for those of us that have the Pi with the pins closest and the power, HDMI, etc.. facing furthest away.”
“Just what i needed to allow me to use two pHATs for my music player system. nice and easy to solder, although one hole on each header seemed a little small which made it hard to get in place but once there it kept the header in place making the soldering easier.
Would be made even better if combined with some female to male gpio cables to allow semi permanent placement in an enclosure.”
“I have both the original black hacker and this one and must say i prefer this one althrough you could daisy chain them to expand your possibilities ;)”
