“Everything you want from a case like this. The attention to detail is amazing for something of this price. It's definitely a premium case in the scheme of RPi, but still cheap for what you get and very well built - it stands above all of the other RPi cases I've owned. The power button is really handy (don't have much use for the reset, but glad it's there for the aesthetic!), and the routing of all of the ports is perfect (power/display/ethernet/audio at the back, USB at the front). I love the cartridge SSD idea, although I had some performance issues booting from an old SSD (purely due to my own configuration), and haven't had the motivation to get it working properly since. As this is an emulator build, using an SSD was really just for my curiosity.”
“A fantastic case for the Pi4, Although much smaller than the original NES, it's almost an exact replica in terms of its looks.
The SSD cartridge case is a great feature for storage. You can boot from SD card a normal an mount the SSD and even boot directly using the SSD with a couple of updates and tweaks.
Price from Pimoroni is competitive and you will not find another case like this for your Pi4.

“Good compact case for the raspberry 4 and a 2.5hdd. 4 stars for build quality but taken a star off for the issue with the linked shutdown/reboot scripts not working. The GitHub fork of ‘crcerror’ does work and was used instead.
Also note - though the listed said a power supply was included it actually isn’t. So be aware.
Most modern 7mm ssds will fit nicely in the provided case. Do not expect to be able to take the, out readily though. older, thicker HD’s will also fit but without the case.”
