“Pimoroni were very helpful, the micro:bit v2 had a fault, and Pimoroni replaced it swiftly.
This is a great little bit of kit complete with a USB cable to connect to a PC or Rapberry Pi, and battery so it can run independently. I bought it for my 9-year old, partly to do a robot project over Easter, for which I bought other bits. He has been able to create block code in the free "Microsoft MakeCode for microBit" to control it, and I have been able to try out Python, as makeCode will convert between these and JavaScript.”
