“This was a really fun project, and all of the parts are of high quality - it's nice to not have to sacrifice an actual Game Boy for this build! The controls feel very nice (essential, since badly-made d-pads and buttons will ruin a games system), and the "Contrast" dial controls the screen brightness, which is a nice touch. There is no soldering involved because the Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero W is hooked up using pogo connectors, making it ideal for a beginner to this sort of thing.
The instructions, though they appear sparse at first, are nice and clear, and there are plenty of additional resources to be found online if you need them. Highly recommended for a first-time handheld emulation project!”
“Awesome case for the pi zero w. I have had lots of fun building this and then taking this everywhere with me. My current favourite handheld and I have more than 25.”
“It's very well done. As a case, that cute Game Boy is just as it is, and it feels very nostalgic. There is no problem with the battery, and above all, I was surprised that Pi Zero W is in it. I'll bring it when I go camping on the weekend”
