This piece of kit is incredible, it opens up a whole new world of possibilities for micro based platforms. I had it up and running, on windows 10 and Linux, in minutes. The screen is clear and seems to update the i2c waveforms very quickly. The python library is very easy to use, and with a few mods to the pimoroni ioexpander library I was able to interface to the RGB Encoder module that I had recently purchased, albeit without interrupt input.
I’ve printed a case for it, to protect the electronics and screen. I will definitely be ordering the display-less version for permanent connection to my desktop PC, and also the SPI version too!!
This simple to use diagnostic board is a great help with the development (PC, Pi, Arduino, PIC and ESP) I2C projects.”
