“Great quality and super bright.
You can remove it from the protective rubberised cover relatively easily and the connectors are good quality and well soldered.
A word of warning is the 144 LED per meter strips are wider and have less space between LED, so the easy connection clips don't fit without considerable modification and the resulting connection isn't as reliable.
The strip is made of 2 parts soldered in the middle with a high-quality solder joint that was a real pain to desolder (I think it's a high temperature solder).”
“The LED lights are so much better and brighter than ones you can buy specifically for computer motherboards (and cheaper as well). What I did was strip/cut the rubber seal and bough some adhesive magnetic strip which I stuck to the base of the LED strip and the magnetic side connected to the case. The only downside is that some of the LEDs at the opposite end of the connection seemed to be dead, however not a big deal as I still had enough length to cover the area of my PC case I needed (hence my 4 out 5 stars).”
“Nice strip, however I got a solder jonction which spreads the space inbetween two LED a little more, just at one point. That will be visible on my project using the 144 version, but that may be unnoticable for less dense ones.”
“Great strip. Good price, easily powered, and compatible with all of the fast led / neopixel libraries I threw at it. You have to cut it very carefully, as there’s not a lot of room on those pads once you’ve split them.”
“Easy to talk to with Arduino drivers or connect into Home Assistant with WLED software.
Pimoroni provided excellent service and delivery. I had a fault on one of the LED's and their service and replacement response was second to none!”
