“I really like this case compared to the rest, there's however one thing that isn't quite right for me and that's my ribbon cable doesn't fit as it has curved edges around the GPIO pins”
“I seemed to get a new version of this case which also has contact with the ram and usb controller. Only change I would like is that it would protect the SD card that is sticking out. Otherwise the case is absolutely fantastic!”
“A snazzy case for my Raspberry Pi 4. It does dissipate heat, and also looks good and is silent. It maintains access to all of the IO, and doesn't detract from the rough and ready charm of the Raspberry Pi as a single board computer.”
“This is an excellet product, with one small flaw... no feet. The whole body is supposed to act as a radiator, but you have to sit the base of it flat, restricting the airflow.
Well, not necessarily. I run mine mostly as a headless server, which is currently connected by wifi, so I can stand the whole thing up on the USB and LAN ports, but when I sort out its permanent home, it'll be connected to the router by a CAT 6 or 7 patch cable.
I would love to be able to sit it vertically to get convection cooling both sides more, but the micro-SD card sits proud of the case on the other side, and there are no fixing points for a VESA mount or anything similar. I might have to try to design a "boot" for the card end to get printed and stand it up...”
